Zaplatnikov Andrey Leonidovich

A.L. Zaplatnikov in 1984 graduated with honors from the pediatric faculty of the Donetsk Medical Institute. In 1984-1991 worked as a local pediatrician, pediatric emergency doctor, doctor of a children's hospital, deputy chief physician of a children's hospital. During this period, his interest in science is manifested, he generalizes practical experience and publishes the first scientific works.

In 1991-1993 - training in clinical residency at the Department of Pediatrics of the Russian Medical Academy of Postgraduate Education, work on a Ph.D.

Thanks to his work at the department, A.L. Zaplatnikov is formed as a highly qualified pediatrician, gains invaluable experience in research and teaching, which, along with high responsibility and professionalism, is the basis for appointing him to the position of associate professor of the department (1997) . Formation of A.L. Zaplatnikov, as a researcher, clinician and teacher, was held under the guidance of prof. N.A. Korovina, Assoc. S.V. Levitskaya, Assoc. Z.N. Vihireva, Assoc. A.V. Cheburkina, Assoc. L.P. Gavryushova, Assoc. Prof. T.M. Tvorogova, Assoc. E.B. Mumladze. At the same time, A.L. Zaplatnikov is assigned to perform clinical work in departments for young children. This not only poses a number of tasks for him, indicating the need to deepen his knowledge of neonatology, immunology, pulmonology, and other related specialties, but also determines his further scientific interests, the result of which is a doctoral dissertation (“Clinical and pathogenetic substantiation of immunotherapy and immunoprophylaxis of viral and bacterial diseases in children”, scientific consultant - Prof. N.A. Korovina, defended in 2003). The results of the doctoral dissertation of A.L. Zaplatnikov formed the basis of the “Protocols for the Diagnosis, Treatment and Prevention of Intrauterine Infections in Newborns”, developed and approved by the Russian Association of Perinatal Medicine Specialists (RASPM), the monographs “Cytomegalovirus infection in young children” and “Immunoglobulins for intravenous administration in pediatric practice”, as well as in the chapters of the National Manual "Neonatology". In 2004, A.L. Zaplatnikov was elected by competition for the position of professor at the Department of Pediatrics.

Currently, A.L. Zaplatnikov continues to take an active part in the advanced training of pediatricians, neonatologists, as well as in the training of highly qualified personnel in the specialties "pediatrics" and "neonatology". Conducts practical training of medical residents at the clinical base in the Children's Clinical Hospital named after. Z.A. Bashlyaeva, where he oversees the departments of pediatrics, neonatology, resuscitation and intensive care of newborns. In 2019 prof. A.L. Zaplatnikov is appointed to the position of Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs of the RMANPO and is elected by competition as the head of the Department of Neonatology of the RMANPE.

A.L. Zaplatnikov actively participates in scientific projects, directs clinical trials, under his leadership dissertations are carried out and successfully defended. Author of more than 330 scientific papers, co-author of numerous manuals, guidelines, monographs and manuals. He is the editor-in-chief of the series "Pediatrics" of breast cancer, a member of the editorial board of the journals "Pediatrics" named after. G.N. Speransky, "Medical Council", etc. Expert of the Higher Attestation Commission.

In 1999-2011 - Deputy Chairman of the Ethics Committee of the National Authority for the Control of Medical Immunobiological Products.

In 2013-2019 - Dean of the Pediatric Faculty of RMANPO
