In 1979 she graduated from the medical faculty of the Moscow Order of Lenin of the Medical Institute named after N.I. Pirogov with a degree in general medicine.

In 1987 she defended her Ph.D. thesis, in 2009 - a doctoral thesis.

She is a member of the Presidium of the Russian Association of Allergologists and Clinical Immunologists, a member of the European Academy of Allergology and Clinical Immunology, a member of the Supreme Council and Executive Committee of the Russian Respiratory Society, heads the Bronchial Asthma field, a member of the European Respiratory Society and a national leader from the Russian Federation in the SHARP European Committee for the Study severe bronchial asthma, member of the Central Attestation Commission of Therapeutic Specialties, member of the editorial board of the journal "Effective Pharmacotherapy" of the direction "Allergology and Immunology", member of the editorial board of the "Russian Allergological Journal", editor-in-chief of the section Bronchial asthma of the journal "Practical Pulmonology".

She is the author of more than 280 scientific publications, 8 monographs, 12 textbooks, 4 chapters in the guide to Clinical Allergology and Immunology, co-author of the Federal Guidelines for Bronchial Asthma and the National Program for Bronchial Asthma in Children.

She took part in more than 70 international and Russian multicenter clinical trials conducted at the department, as a principal investigator - more than 30.
